Final Day – Day 15 Just over a week later than planned but, I have finally got round to writing a blog post about my final day on the pain management program.
Day 13 We started our psychology session with some mindfulness, focusing on our 5 senses allowing us to ground ourselves in the moment.
Day 12 Walking into our psychology session on Tuesday we were faced with a dart board so we knew there would be a metaphor coming.
Just a short post about spending last Saturday night at the day of the dead festival. It may seem like nothing to others but, for me it was a big achievement 🙂
Day 10 I can’t believe that it is almost the end of the second week and how much things have changed in such a short period of time.
Day 9 The end of the week was fast approaching
Day 7 Our day started off with some psychology which seems to bore us all to death.
Day 6 – Week 2 I definitely have that Monday morning feeling. I had quite a bad nights sleep so motivating myself was quite difficult.
Day 5 I can’t tell you how happy i was that it was Friday. It had been an awfully long week. In 8 hours i would be travelling home to a comfortable chair, my own bed and surrounded by my family catching up on tv (who knew the little things could make such a difference)…
Day 4 Throughout our session with the nurse we finally focused on the common medications that people with chronic pain are given.
Day 3 I struggled to get out of bed as i was so tired (something i will probably be repeating quite a bit).
Day 2 I woke up to my room phone ringing. I had overslept and it was 9:05.
