Final Day – Day 15 Just over a week later than planned but, I have finally got round to writing a blog post about my final day on the pain management program.
Day 14 Thursday was our last full day, even though we finished early.
Day 13 We started our psychology session with some mindfulness, focusing on our 5 senses allowing us to ground ourselves in the moment.
Day 12 Walking into our psychology session on Tuesday we were faced with a dart board so we knew there would be a metaphor coming.
Day 9 The end of the week was fast approaching
Day 7 Our day started off with some psychology which seems to bore us all to death.
Day 6 – Week 2 I definitely have that Monday morning feeling. I had quite a bad nights sleep so motivating myself was quite difficult.
Day 5 I can’t tell you how happy i was that it was Friday. It had been an awfully long week. In 8 hours i would be travelling home to a comfortable chair, my own bed and surrounded by my family catching up on tv (who knew the little things could make such a difference)…
Day 4 Throughout our session with the nurse we finally focused on the common medications that people with chronic pain are given.
Day 3 I struggled to get out of bed as i was so tired (something i will probably be repeating quite a bit).
